You are not far right enough unless you support putting a cross on the White House and putting Christ and the Apostles on our money. Voters need to understand how extreme the fundy Christian agenda is. Cruz is their primary cross bearer. And he is not the only one with such extreme agenda.

(24,380 posts)(or I should say Evangelical Christians) is really "Paulianity" and/or "Peterianity".
They like what Peter and Paul wrote more than what Jesus supposedly said.

(95,337 posts)And the Gospels is the only section that really is the message that Jesus gave us.
I know Athiests that show better values of Jesus than some of these so-called fundamentalist 'Christians' which leads me to believe that faith isn't what you call yourself religious-wise but how you treat the people around you. And when you think about it - Jesus was never a Christian so does anyone have to be a Christian in order to follow the amazing values that he has? Help the poor, be good to others, do not judge others, accept everyone for who they are - those are good values he spoke about but unfortunately lost by too many people who claim they are 'Christians'

(10,602 posts)The church becomes the state in fundamentalist eyes. There is no separation between them. Religious laws become civil laws for all. That includes non believers. Convert or leave is the bottom line of their mantra.
