Maybe some of these guys can be reached-

I saw something today at the Cardiologist office today. Sitting there in the huge office, one old guy in the waiting room looked up at the 40 foot ceiling and wondered what it cost to build such a building. I said I wonder what it cost to heat and cool all that. Bear with me for a moment. There was another old guy across the coffee table who started up a discussion about all the small towns in western Kansas, they went back and forth about where one town was and another. They grew up out there. The discussion went to bird hunting. Bird hunting out there is a big deal. The discussion soon went to how the bird population has dwindled so much, and how the hunting had become almost nonexistent. Their faces became very sad, sorry to see it come to this. No wildlife at all, one said "Well at least I can say I was there " meaning he was there when the ecology was healthy. The discussion soon ended. I looked at them and realized-they do know. They do, the sadness was real. I am thinking you know what, maybe these guys can be reached. I have hope, am I wrong?

Though some are harder to reach than others, that's for sure!

Like religion, the military and 2nd amendment. I think I saw that they can be reached on certain issues. Such as the changing landscape. I kept my mouth shut (hard for me) and watched and tried to process the look on their faces.
