Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers posted an image on her official Facebook page, slamming the Affordable Care Act on the fifth anniversary of President Obama signing it into law. She asked constituents to share their Obamacare nightmare stories and well, the response probably wasn't what she expected. Below are a small sample of the comments constituents left on her page:

On Monday Ted Cruz, in anticipation of the impending doom of America something the rest of us would call the Affordable Care Act signup deadline posed a question to his idiot followers on Monday. It was the tried-and-true drumbeat of the Stupid Party, an attempt to capitalize on the words of the President to whine about Obamacare.
Unfortunately for Cruz, when he asked, Quick poll: Obamacare was signed into law four years ago yesterday. Are you better off now than you were then? Comment with YES or NO! Cruz was surely not expecting what happened next: ACA supporters flocked to the thread to express exactly how deluded Green Eggs and Bullsh*t really is. Pages and pages of comments in support of the Presidents signature law flooded into Cruzs page:

The Tea Party crusade against the Affordable Care Act (ACA) hit a huge snag this week. On March 24, 2014, Texas Tea Party Senator, Ted Cruz, decided to put up a quick poll, about the ACA on his facebook page. Problem? The Koch brothers dont control the conversation on social media, the people do.
Ask a question, get an answer.
The question Rafael Ted Cruz asked on facebook was simple. Are you better off now than you were before the ACA, also called Obamacare, was signed into law, four years ago?
Nearly 40,000 comments later, the resounding answer from people all across the country was YES.
People love the ACA.
People who responded to the question cited different reasons for saying that theyre better off since the ACA went into effect. Some pointed out that the ACA has saved them money, reduced their monthly premiums, and lowered deductibles and co-pays.
A large number of those who responded to Cruzs quick poll, said cited the ACA that prevents insurance companies from dropping people with a preexisting condition.

Fix it, change it or come up with a better idea! Thanks"

I am very happy for the many who are getting health insurance.

(5,530 posts)When I first read this, I thought "Ha ha, a few dozen people trolled her sprinkled in the avalanche of drivel from her like-minded followers. "
Actually I was stunned when I went to the page. The positive comments go on and on.
I went through hundreds and never saw a single negative comment. It is actually overwhelming to see it.
I encourage you to go and scroll though page after page. It warmed my heart.
