Earth HOUR is tonight, March 28, 2015

I wish this was more publicized! We are all so connected now, this could be such a big thing, but I am just not seeing much about it. My daughter brought it to my attention!

This is not just a great thing for getting people to think about energy consumption, but it is also a good chance to see the stars better! I know when I was a kid (I am 50 now), it seems like there were many more stars I could see. I now live in a semi-suburban area, next to a very large forest and they just don't seem as bright as they used to!

It would be nice if stores and other places of business got in on this as well. That would really make a difference. We can get by on minimal lighting. Seems like we got by with no electricity for many years before!

So, turn out the lights tonight for an hour!

AT 8:30 PM (your local time)

It is set for local time so that each time zone does it at different real times.

I guess we can't have the WHOLE globe go dark at once! That would confuse the aliens!

Lazy minds are the sort that deny climate change. Any amount of waking them up, even a bit can't be that bad!
