My Proposal For A New Pan-Religion Temple in Jerusalem: The Temple of Toummarah

I am proposing a NEW DIRECTION in which to try to bring a LASTING and MEANINGFUL PEACE in the Middle East and hopefully the World. I propose the JOINT building of a new Pan-Religion Temple in Jerusalem, planned and constructed by the people of ANY AND ALL the religions of the World who wish to take part in this project of HOPE and PEACE. The name "Temple of Toummarah" is by no means random. It is a combination of 2 very important words...one Arabic and another Hebrew. In Arabic the word "Ummah" means "nation" or "community" and refers to the collective community of the Islamic people. The second word is the Hebrew word "Torah" which is the central concept of Judaic Tradition. There is also a THIRD word from the English language which tangentially has a place in the naming of the Temple. That word is "Tomorrow" which is a play on words with the name "Toummarah." My hope is that people from ALL NATIONS and ALL RELIGIONS will take part in the planning and erection of this Temple. The Temple of Toummarah will be open for prayer to any and all people of any and all religions. The people from all over the World will be encouraged to practice their religion in their own customary fashion at any time of the day, week or year. The Temple will be OPEN TO ALL and be a SAFE HAVEN for people of all religions. All religions will be encouraged to donate to the Temple religious artifacts and symbols from their own means of worship. The Temple will be a place where people of all religions will be able to congregate and worship in any form they feel is important and meaningful to them. Freedom, Peace and Harmony will be the calling of all who worship in this holiest of holy places.
