Hillary will have an woman

as a rival in 2016.
In a Sunday interview with Fox News host Chris Wallace, Fiorina said that there was a "higher than 90 percent" chance that she would become a Republican presidential candidate.
The former HP CEO explained that she would make a formidable candidate "because I understand technology: a transformational tool, because I understand bureaucracies, how they work and how you need to change them. And our government is a huge bureaucracy."

(53,055 posts)Showing that your antipathy for Clinton has nothing to do with what you claim. You denounce Clinton for being neoliberal, while touting the "leadership" of a fucking corporate CEO. You have showed your backside here.
The good thing about the recent anti-Clinton threads is that people are showing their true colors, and that they their claims that the Democrats aren't left enough are pure bullshit.

Your OP
Hillary will have an woman

as a rival in 2016.
You go ahead and tell everyone how that really doesn't mean what it says, and how stupid we are in thinking it was meant to be English.
Fiorina gave Elizabeth Warren

Clearly Fiorina is staking out

There were no quotes around leadership in the OP, but the thread wasn't received as enthusiastically as you hoped. The person making the claim about leadership credentials in the OP was you, no one else.

Just the objective facts.
A CEO is a "leadership" role.
Where is it suggested she

Is there ANY defense of Fiorina?
A GOP woman candidate could
be considered a stalking horse
against a Clinton candidacy.
Stalking horse: a political candidate
who runs only in order to provoke
the election and thus allow a stronger
candidate to come forward.
Fiorina, in the interview said...
"Elizabeth Warren is right. Crony capitalism

(35,015 posts)Being the leader didn't work out for her so well.....plus she lost her senate race.
Walter Hewlett, you may remember, was the low-key, cello-playing scion of the Hewlett family who fought HP's then-CEO, Carly Fiorina, over her planned $25 billion merger with Compaq, which was announced 10 years ago next month.
Hewlett's point was simple: Just maybe it's a really bad idea to double down on a low-margin business like PCs.
Of course, we all know what happened. Hewlett's opposition was no match for the publicity-savvy Fiorina and her team of brass-knuckled marketers, who seemed a better fit for politics than the high-tech industry. (Which explains Carly's second career as the Republican loser in the race for one of California's seats in the U.S. Senate.) Hewlett folded his cards, went back to his quiet life, and Fiorina got fired three years after the merger because she was better at selling an idea than running a really, really big company.

They had such bad products & were cost reduced so badly that they had to go out of business, selling their assets to ACER, who had also bought several other PC market losers, like Gateway, and E-machines. Just a little PC market history for ya there. Fiorino STILL performed as badly as these guys, and almost completely dumped HP into the crap barrel. As a community we seem to be ok
