(16,423 posts)There is nothing wrong with conservative politics. Conservative politics are the bestest in the world! They are infallible! They are perfect! And everybody likes them! They just don't know it yet!
If people don't like conservative politics, it's not the fault of conservative politics, it's the fault of the people!
All it takes are a little bit "messaging" and "clarification" and the people will realize how stupid they have been to object to conservative politics!
This reminds me of an episode from 1953 in the communist German Democratic Republic: People had demonstrated against an increase of the working-quotas.
As a response, Kurt Barthel, president of the east-german writers association, penned an op-ed, lambasting the workers for betraying the government and how hard it would be for the government to trust the workers again.
In response to THAT Bertolt Brecht wrote the poem http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_L%C3%B6sung , suggesting that if the government distrusts the people, the easiest solution for the government would be to dissolve the people and elect new ones.
