Here are some ideas for some new Stephen King books

Anyway, with that line of thinking I want to propose several new stories for Mr. King.

The Bureaus
Three Bureaus with some unknown formula track your financial decisions and if you do something they don't like, you know like miss a payment, get medical bills that you can't pay, you know... life. If life happens then watch out, if will become hard to impossible to do things like get a home or get a job.
Oh wait... Sorry, that's not fiction, that would be the three credit bureaus.

Clones
A strange dystopian world where you need your clones to fulfill various obligations and social contracts... such as getting a job. Basically you need to be currently employed to get a job.
Oh wait... Sorry, that's not fiction, there really are job ads that say you need to be currently employed before you can get a job.

Should have listened to myself
We are told that global disaster and a post-apocalyptic world is inevitable if we don't give tons of cash to several massive corporations right now. Now cut to several years later and those massive corporations are even bigger. Uh oh...
Oh wait... Sorry, that's not fiction, that is actually happening.

I think I'll just leave the horror writing to King, I keep confusing horror stories for how we treat the poor and the unemployed.
