Also where I travel. Most recently, I've learned to be polite in Hmong and one of the languages of Somalia. I have neighbors from those places. It's not difficult to do and breaks down barriers very nicely. I can be polite in French, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, and Turkish as well and am conversational in French, Spanish and Russian. I've always loved learning new languages.
