I grew up eating a lot of mild Tex-Mex at a chain called Monterey House just outside of Houston that no longer exists. Food has gotten a lot spicier in general and I have to avoid it. Also I have some food allergies.

Tomball is a burb northwest of Houston.

I'm all too familiar with the area. Main Street is a pain in the ass, and it's where my dentist used to be. (lived here 6 years now ) It's saving grace is the Showboat. (which is technically not Tomball but close enough... lol)
