At least the KKK of the old days had a bit of a clue....
They were smart enough to cover their faces because they knew society would scorn & shame them for their bigotry.
I defy ANY business out there to turn away business because of their 'religious' convictions. Go ahead and put your business and a face to bigotry. A clueless pizzeria owner in Indiana thought she was doing the right thing saying how she would never cater a wedding and just that one sentence and her business is probably going to be in ruins. And when you think about it - how many gay people were clamouring to have her business even cater their wedding that she had to make a statement like public to the world.
I have no problem with religion. I am a Christian myself. But my faith says that we should practice tolerance and not judge others. Jesus would never put a sign on the front of his business that says 'Christians Only'. He would welcome everyone. Sure, some customers can't be helped - if you try helping a customer and they become too difficult or they are inebriate - maybe at that point you have to ask them to leave. At least you know that you tried. But customers are customers, why do we need to pre-qualify someone with a background check before we can welcome them into our business? In the end gay customers aren't a weird species of humanoid that need special treatment and training to be served, they are just regular people like everyone else who want regular treatment just like everyone else.
