The funny thing is Cotton could have easily swapped Saudi Arabia or pretty much any other country in the M.E. for Iran but I guess he didn't want to be seen as calling out a possible ally.

But the Iran comment is, at least, a little clever because it allows them to insult people concerned about LGBT equality and the administration's nuke framework in one fell swoop
