Not that I disbelieve it. But please back up your post with some journalism.
Thanks.

(904 posts)If so, it has totally failed him and if not Sen. Allen needs to take care of home first before she tells the rest of us what to do

(28,810 posts)according to the article i read she really made no bones about why she introduced the bill. it was to help her daughter. the daughter apparently has not ditched her adulterous husband.

(18,219 posts)As long as her daughter doesn't have to give him the oral sex that he wants, it's all good.

(86,765 posts)of our government institutions require any elected office holder to actually have any working knowledge of the Constitution or any other law for that matter, let alone requiring an IQ that would register to the right of "0" on a number line or even having three digits to the rating that didn't start with "0" as the first digit in the rating...

(53,661 posts)Illiteracy is not an issue, nor being able to think, just make a mark and do as they're told.
It's only when the sockpuppets open their mouths that the unfathomable depth of their ignorance bubbles up, like a seething cesspool.
That's not a pretty image, nor is it a pleasant thing to witness from these 'representatives.'

(5,022 posts)They think the voters are stupid and they are arrogant f**ks who believe that the Constitutional protections are only supposed to be upheld when it is favor of their views. Also, Hobby Lobby, etc, have taught them to just keep pushing the envelope until they get what they want - after all, the law has to be challenged to stop it.

(18,791 posts)Whatever.
It was said to me that she is a "Church Lady"...and/or that this is the type of shit that would happen in some corrupt foreign country.

(32,086 posts)Where's the nearest Rastafarian congregation? That's the only way you'll get me into a church, asshole.
I'll bet she'll scream "persecution" if either of her bills don't pass.

(32,086 posts)But, I'd rather go with the one that uses ganga. That would piss her off, as well. Besides, she really wants everyone to go to a Christian church, and Rastafarianism has elements of Christianity in it.

(3,913 posts)Clark also said that following Hunts resignation, staff members at the jail began receiving offensive texts sent by a disposable cell phone. While the person sending the texts has not been identified, Clark noted that an investigation has revealed that the phone used was purchased online and had been sent to Allens campaign office in Snowflake.

(18,219 posts)and I will either sleep with my feet on the pew in front of me, or start a spit ball fight. I am not sure that she has thought this through.
As to her son-in-law, apparently her daughter is no smarter than she is.

(95,337 posts)she can show me where in the bible Jesus attended church every week and said that his followers should do the same.
When she shows that to me (and btw no using Paul as the answer, we are not Paulists, we are Christians) then I am on board 100% and I'll even champion the cause here at DU.
But since I seem to know the bible better than this clueless wonder, DUers can rest easy knowing that I'm not going to be pushing all of you into mandatory attendance anytime soon. Jesus actually felt church wasn't some sort of structured building and mandatory attendance anyways but more of the gathering of people in his name, sort of an informal happening that could occur at anytime. Doing good things and helping others could be defined as a church in Jesus' words. More details about that were in the Gnostics but those gnostics were excluded since they went against the nice organized, money-making structure that Paul had help build with the modern day Church.
