Social conservatives alert: the Republican ticket will be Bush-Paul

and that's because the Republican establishment is throwing social conservatives under the bus.

The political apparat of the .01% has never had much in common with social conservatives, but found them useful as a means of dividing the working class. Now, however, they find that social conservatism is hurting their profits. And it is profits before all else. Bush, one of their most important tools (in part because he is one of them) will trim his social conservatism just enough, and with Bush and Paul they will hope to gain some traction with hispanics and bring in millennials who value lifestyle libertarianism. Most important: while they would prefer Bush, the .01% can live with Hillary as President and will prefer that to Cruz control or some other social-conservative divider. They don't have to win to win.

Maybe we will see a social-conservative third party campaign.
