WIBC/Indianapolis Drops Rush Limbaugh
April 13, 2015 at 9:15 AM (PT)
EMMIS News-Talk WIBC/INDIANAPOLIS is dropping RUSH LIMBAUGH's syndicated show, as the station's contract with PREMIERE NETWORKS expires.
PREMIERE has been a great partner, and RUSH has been an iconic part of WIBCs heritage and success, said SVP/Market Manager CHARLIE MORGAN. WIBC has a strong line-up of live and local personalities delivering great radio, and we will continue to be INDIANAPOLIS home for listeners with a passion for conservative values and principles.
"We've had a wonderful partnership with EMMIS for many years, including a long history of ratings success for THE RUSH LIMBAUGH SHOW in INDIANAPOLIS," stated PREMIERE NETWORKS Pres. JULIE TALBOTT.
LIMBAUGHs show currently airs from 12-3p weekdays on WIBC, and the programs last day on the station will be JULY 3rd. No replacement was immediately named.
