(45,251 posts)1. LOL, a relative's puppy once ran away and parked himself at the entrance to the animal hospital.
Nothing was wrong with him, but they gave him all his shots again because he was not wearing proof that he had already had them. (he had). And, of course, the relative had to pay for the shots and a day's room and board.
Small price for the relief it gave his little human boy.
You never want to be around anyone whose dog has gone missing, especially a little kid (or my mother in law!).

Having my dog go missing, which thank Dog has never happened, is one of my worst fears.
