Pamela Anderson under fire for supporting vegetarian 'slop' Sheriff Joe serves inmates

Pamela Anderson has come in for criticism for her very public show of support for an Arizona sheriff notorious for his controversial opinions and racial profiling of Latinos.

Joe Arpaio, who calls himself ‘America’s Toughest Sheriff’, and the former Baywatch star appeared odd soul-mates as they joined together at the Maricopa County Jail on Wednesday to promote the benefits of an all-vegetarian diet.

Arpaio says cutting meat from the meals served to the more than 8,000 inmates has saved an estimated $200,000 per year. The jail has been serving vegetarian meals for 16 months now.

for a long time. It's hard for me to believe that shit was worth $200,000, even a year's worth. Pam is standing there smiling as if he's doing this for the sake of the animals and the inmates' health. Some people are as dumb as they look.

Many people in my family are vegetarians and vegans but "Sheriff Joe" could bite me and I'd post the pictures on the internet without hesitation.

Sheriff Joe has over 8000 people in his gulags. He feeds them twice a day. If his average prisoner load is 8,219 people, he feeds 6 million meals per year.

His not feeding meat saves three cents per meal.

It seems that since that fucking tyrant has been running Maricopa County into the ground, over 150 people have died in his jails. If you want to "save lives" in the Maricopa County Jail, issue that fucker a pair of pink panties and put him in General Population.
