MSNBC Pulse ... and, has the name of our party been permanently co-opted?

What do you guys think about this new MSNBC/Bing Pulse thingy?
Also, it seems as if the name of our party is now accepted to be the truncated misnomer of "Democrat Party", instead of the official name "Democratic Party". MSNBC/Bing has decided to use the truncated version here (and I'm sick of this shit!):
