Choose one or more from the three.

I like The McLaughlin Group, mainly because of McLaughlin and Eleanor Clift, but also because of Pat Buchanan who often has high entertainment value. The rest are simpletons. McLaughlin? Who knows? Like my title, naive, ideologue, or blinkered idiot.

Which is a mostly weekly thing for me.

I have not yet seen this week's program. I was just commenting in general.

Regards.

My favorite panel member of all time was Jack Germond, poor Eleanor usually had some good things to say too if you could hear her over the other motormouths trying to shout over her.

McLaughlin always struck me as a pragmatic conservative, it doesn't surprise me he's fine with Hillary.

Brezhnev of the old USSR would fit the bill of pragmatic too. I.E. --not gonna change the status quo that is killing the country. If Hillary wins the Democratic nomination she will lose to the more pragmatic Republican. That's what pragmatic will get the Democratic party in the next presidential election.

Seriously though, the guy was always a hawk first and Republican or Democrat second. Hillary will be chomping at the bit to prove she is "tough" so I doubt he will be disappointed.

It was the panelist, the billionaire Mortimer Zuckerman, who made that statement.
