That you could see through their clever ruse and she couldn't?

Politico is politics. They don't play favorites; they talk about the political machinations of both parties.

"The son of Democratic mega-donor George Soros is gearing up to play a more active role in the 2016 election with the launch of new political action committee focused on representing the views of Jewish Americans — beyond foreign policy.'

Alex Soros, 29, who has steadily increased his political and philanthropic giving in recent years, has helped establish Bend the Arc PAC, the first ever national Jewish political action committee in America focused entirely on domestic issues. Bend the Arc, a non-profit, has an advocacy arm chaired by the younger Soros but has not previously had a political action committee.
Story Continued Below

Bend the Arc PAC will back progressive candidates by making direct contributions to their campaign committees. It will focus on issues such as income inequality, marriage equality, social justice and immigration reform.

"Alberto Gonzales: Lynch ‘absolutely’ deserves confirmation vote"

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Monday that Loretta Lynch should “absolutely” get a prompt Senate confirmation vote to head the Justice Department.
“I feel very strongly the president of the United States is entitled to his team,” Gonzales said in an interview with POLITICO. “And so long as his nominee is qualified, then he’s entitled to his team. He’s done his job by nominating Loretta Lynch; the Senate needs to do its job and give her an up-or-down vote.”

when they make a point that is counter to whatever the bullshit du jour is. This is a nice little lesson. The other little trick is... the business pages.

When Wally World decided to raise wages, there is a reason why a lot of folks who knew better, and did not want to deal with your crazy UNCLE WHO TYPES WITH CAPS... we avoided the NYT and instead used Forbes and Politico.

Hey, using the actual press release will lead to your crazy UNCLE WHO TYPES WTH CAPS. Serious. And I prefer to use the actual press release when possible. But in these cases it is both Forbes and the release. It saves me a lot of angry posts, go figure,
