Trying to sort out my computer problems over the past several days has been a crazy time. The company I used, will not be mentioned ... but one thing I learned during this exhausting process, is that there is a web site .. FREE ... that gets rid of adware, an adware removal tool, on any site that you would visit for example, Huffington Post. No more stuff to clog up my intertubes! Like I say it is free, they do, however, accept donations. It works great so far for me. Just passing this on (no,this is not a commercial) .... techsupportall.com ... advancedsystemcare 8.1.

(3,741 posts)Do you think I am spamming? I hope not. OK, I am not as sophisticated as the rest of you, but I am only passing on something that I just learned. The second biggest thing that I have learned on the computer is how to use spell check .... so there!

Advanced System Care is awesome, I've installed it on all my devices for years, and AVG Free is incredible as well as a first line of defense. I do find that the first line of defense is Adblock though.
