it was fascinating, and discouraging, here in my community the last few weeks. one of our supermarkets is undergoing a major remodel. during the first part of it, the two public restrooms at the front of the store were being redone, one at a time. as each was being redone, the other was turned, temporarily, into a unisex facility. it was very instructive to see that some people just used them, and others got very upset.

personally, I have far more important things to concern myself with than who is in the closed-door stall next to me.

That will give the right-wing fundies something to rally behind and drive them to the polls.

Once again, religions prove they can't leave people's gender or sexuality alone. I was recently told that I'm supposed to be tolerant of religions, but isn't this initiative based on sexual perversion? (what type of genitalia exists under your clothing?) Religions are once again spreading hatred.
