Common sense dictates WAY WAY more so called democrats are more likely NOT to vote for a Clinton due to this meme than so called republicans will NOT vote for the republican candidate, NO MATTER who it is, especially if Hillary is on the ballot.
Translation, this meme guarantees less votes for Hillary and practically no less votes for whoever the republican is.

(23,664 posts)Clinton won't come out swinging against Jeb. She and Bill wouldn't be getting anymore invitations to Kennebunkport if she did.
The relationship between these two clans seems just a bit too cozy.

(9,148 posts)Clinton's are self made people.
Bush's go all the way back to financing Adolph Hitler.
They are rotten to the core.

(5,815 posts)They think he's a liberal Republican, especially on issues like immigration.
If you ever lurk through the conservative blogosphere and media, you'll find he is probably least favorite candidate in their primary.

(5,018 posts)The point of this thread is dont believe that the dynasty meme, which is bullshit on it's face due to the fact that the Clinton's are self made and Bush's are spoiled rich kids, is being played out right here on DU and in the media.
Repeated references to "anybody but Hillary or anybody but Jeb"
problem is righty dont go that way
you may find a tiny minority of righty who vote for some 3rd person, but it will be tiny
Prism
(5,815 posts)If Jeb is the nominee, it will be interesting to observe turn out. They really don't like the guy right now. Perhaps that will change.

(9,002 posts)I spent Sunday ripping out the fabric and tilling the soil and old mulch with a brand new gas powered tiller that we just purchased - usually rent one, and then covering the earth in manure and such.
I'm going to let the earth sit for probably a week as it's going to rain a bunch a this week and then plant the starter plants and seeds this weekend.
I missed the entire Celtics game for this effort which probably wasn't so bad since they lost.
Last year we tried a few new veggies in the garden: green beans and peas. The green beans were a huge fail and the different kinds of peas were a rousing success. We don't really eat green beans anyway so I don't know why we wasted the space.
We usually plant a few kinds of heirloom tomatoes along with the grapes, cherries and such but they didn't have any at the store so we need to go on the hunt for some this week so they can be planted with everything else this weekend.
Man, I'm getting old as two days later I'm still so damn sore. It'll be worth it when I'm eating cucumbers, peas and tomatoes for breakfast.
Can't wait.

(88 posts)that I've read today. I'm in Arizona now, trying to wrap up business and get out to my other place in Puget Sound. Things will grow in Arizona, but you have to stand over them and pour water on them 18 hours a day. Western Washington State is a different matter, but the growing season is short. And I know what sore is: I'm sore from just living nearly 83 years.

Yes, I know it's not illegal, but the fact that we're drinking from the same wells so soon, is an indication of how captured and skewed the system has become. Personally, I'm appalled many think 'it's no big deal'.

or if it is Hillary who comes with Bill (his record in the WH SHAMES the two Bush presidencies) I take the Hillary
You see it will be a choice like that, if she is nominated.
If not and we have someone like Bernie and we win, I will be thrilled.
