1. I thought the cops broke his neck.

The video shows him broken in places (his leg being an obvious one) yet the cops pretended he was fine and dandy.

When will they be brought up on charges of attempted murder?

4. My guess, based on what little injury details I have seen.

Some steroid enraged avenger full body weight knee to the victim laying face down to "control" the suspect while being put in restraints. Aimed at the spine even with the top of the shoulders; attacker's knee towards victim's skull, foot towards buttocks.

In the video's shot during the arrest, were any of the officers wearing knee protectors as part of their assault gear?

It was either a knee or elbow, if he had the hard plastic protectors on either one would have done it.

guess is that they sadistically wrapped a seat belt around his neck and laughingly told him that they wee making sure that he was wearing the safety belt.

And then on the way to the jail, the driver got up to speed and slammed on the brakes causing the belt to tighten so much that it crushed his Larnyx and twisted his spine so severely it svered his spinal column.

Edit: I also think that the leg shackles were placed on him afterwards because the cops discovered that he was rendered immobile from his injuries and they called for the shackles imnn an attempt to cover their ass and make it appear that he was not injured.

of him being taken to the van he sure looks like he is in serious pain. I am not sure what to think.

9. It was reported today that the cops made a remarkable admission . . .

that Gray was mistakenly not placed in a seat belt in the back of the van.

At first glance it seems, with this admission, that the cops are signalling that there will be a thorough investigation.

IMO though, I think this admission is a calculated one that lays the groundwork for a defense that he was injured in the back of the van because he was handcuffed and shackled but not belted in and therefore not able to brace himself during transport.

Of course this would be an outrageous defense but if they are willing to make such an admission, what happened to the suspect on the ground before he was placed in the van has to have been really bad, therefore the attempt to shift attention from the pre-van tussle where several cops place their full body weight with knees to the back and neck of the suspect.

If you watch the video closely you can clearly see that one of the one of Gray's legs is broken and at an odd and unnatural angle when they hoist him up. Both legs are also limp and not supporting his weight.

These fu_ckers have had time to come up with a plan. It's always about getting the cops off — just like in Ferguson.

That has to be where the eventually fatal injury occurred and the cops have to know it to make the not-belted-in-mistake admission which potentially will yield less culpability than the suspect's neck being broken by a cop's knee to the back of the neck.

shackles were placed on his legs? (according to the police's story, that is) And is it even possible to be secured with the safety belt after placement of the leg shackles?
