(50,983 posts)Think about it.
A presidential candidate that remains fuzzy on the TPP is not a viable candidate.

(47,953 posts)I will give Obama credit, he is clear on which side he stands on the TPP. It is the wrong side, but he is clear about it.
Sanders and Warren have been quite clear on the other side.
If one is not clear, and the topic in question is quite unpopular, then one can infer quite easily what the candidate's feelings are on the issue.

(52,791 posts)My biggest gripe and fear is the provision that lets corporations sue to overturn laws that are "expensive and inconvenient" to their potential profits..
That would pretty much cover every safety rule ever invented.
MAKE THE TPP AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC !!

(9,033 posts)It just strikes me as amusing (in an sort of way) that all the gun fetishists who are always claiming their gunz are all about preventing tyranny, and who--according to them--have been living under the worst, most unlawful, most despotic, most Constitution-shredding socialist Marxist Kenyan Muslin Manchurian President evah dreamt of, still--6 years on--have not found the gumption to seize their gunz, Rise Up and Defend said Constitution.
Boggle boggle boggle.
Or not. Cowards will be cowards.
