One concern I have about Hillary is ...

the Dems are putting all their eggs in one basket.
If the GOP manages to overturn the basket we are screwed.

Normally there would be several candidates so the opposition wouldn't spend a lot of money and effort to destroy someone who might not win the candidacy anyway.
This time it looks like they know who the candidate is right away so all their efforts can be focussed immediately, giving them 19 months instead of the customary 4 to find a chink in her armor.

Granted they've been trying for years to smear her and have never found anything substantial but there will be more money and effort than ever before dedicated to inventing some scandal that could take her down.

If they succeed, the Republican, no matter who it is, will certainly win.
We just have to trust that she will be able to dodge any new poisoned arrows they shoot at her as she has done in the past.
But 19 more months of doing this seems pretty harrowing.

This is a case where they're the smart ones and they're letting us sink our own ship by not calling for more choices.

They have been pillorying Bill for twenty five years and he remains America's most popular ex president and left office with higher approval ratings than any president in history.

I expect Team Hillary to fight back as they are doing and fight back effectively...

." Constantly drawing the spotlight".
She barely speaks to the media & her campaign stops have been quiet & private. Away from the spotlight.
What are you referring to?

Wish a couple more would either shit or get off the pot. Wish they would run so the media would have someone else to endlessly dissect.
Hillary hasn't been in the spotlight. That's not her campaign style at all. Quite the opposite.

22. Clinton Found. foreign/corporate donors v. income inequality issue
Thu Apr 23, 2015, 11:37 PM
Apr 2015

Highlighted tonight on one of MSNBC's cable shows, either Rachel or O'Donnell. Bill Clinton got $500K to give one speech (I believe pd for by a foreign gov) while Hillary was Sec. of State ---just doesn't look good. Nor does holding a Clinton Found. benefit at a Goldman Sachs venue. Investigating these cozy ties will be front and center if Hill is the nominee so forget about issues like income inequality, infrastructure, war, energy, the environment, education, health care... Is this what we want 2016 to be about? NO!

Hillary as the champion of the 99% and standard bearer against income inequality is not palatable or credible considering all the $ the Clintons apparently have come into since they left the WH, according to Hillary without a penny to their name. And now, they're super rich! thanks to their rich friends who pay $500K for a speech. (One of tonight's MSNBC pundits said we can watch Bill Clinton speak for free on youtube :rofl . In short, the foreign donors and corporate largesse are tremendous problems for our "inevitable" candidate.

Go, Elizabeth, time to move into the debate.
