You can donate for all kinds of relief around the world through well known organizations

This may sink like a rock, but I think many of us can be reminded that we can actually do something very small to help people around the world. We're so used to expecting governments to step in and fix things that we forget that the 99% have a huge amount of power, simply by being the 99%.

You can google any organization that you feel is legitimate and in minutes you can donate any amount you can afford. And most of us can afford something. $5 or $10 or $1000. Years of being at the low end of the rapidly diminishing middle class have shown me that sometimes it's possible to donate a very small amount and that it will go directly to helping those in need more than all the big government aid services. So now that I'm no longer struggling so much one of the things I do which I always wanted to do was help those in need. You can even use it as a tax deduction.

If you want you can try:
The International Red Cross http://www.ifrc.org/
Doctors Without Borders https://donate.doctorswithoutborders.org/onetime.cfm
World Vision http://www.worldvision.org/

There is no minimum required.

Please keep this kicked.

It lets them know what can be expected for any given month and let them plan their aid more effectively.
