He'd help turn Texas blue from Brownsville to Galveston on the Gulf, west to Austin, then up the river to El Paso. Maybe even DFW metroplex and Lubbock (university town), but probably not the Panhandle.

Still, that would bag the electoral votes.

Where several people may tryout for a position to see if they can make the cut.
I don't know where you got swimsuits from.

Then again, even dead, he'd be an improvement over either of those two.

The poll was dealing with the POSSIBILITY that she would be...not the assumption that her nomination was a certainty.

It is so premature at this point as to be completely meaningless.

Because if there is one thing the Republicans hate more than a Democrat it's someone who would be strong on workers rights.

Carey was cleared of all wrongdoing, but his lifetime ban from the Teamsters was kept in place anyway.

From what I've seen, Hoffa's basically been a management lapdog who let the Teamsters become corrupt and undemocratic again. Any reason I shouldn't believe that?

That is what the vetting process is about and I wouldn't be involved with that. But, I do know he has taken on Cruz and that he has endorsed people from both parties though these days he aligns with Democrats a whole lot more.

My main concern is that he is hated by Republicans a lot. Which means they think he would give them hell or he does give them hell. Also he isn't a politician and he has been directly involved in getting workers what they need. He has been boots on the ground for decades. It would be nice to see someone who has been working closely with workers have a national platform. It would be even better if someone like that were to be Vice-President.
