http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-stacey-dash-no-one-would-have-been-beheaded-under-bush/Outnumbered guest host Stacey Dash said Monday afternoon that no one would have been beheaded under a George W. Bush presidency.
Dashs comments were in reference to a report Monday that Bush criticized Obamas foreign policy, the first time he has been known to done so. In his remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalitions annual meeting in Las Vegas, Bush reportedly said, Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearls throat is in Gitmo, and now theyre doing it on TV. Pearl was a Wall Street Journal reporter who was captured and murdered in 2002 by Pakistani militants.
Moments after cohost Andrea Tantaros invoked Pearl, Dash made her comment about nobody being beheaded under Bush.
When George W. Bush was president, the most important thing to him was not to be liked, but to be respected, she said. And you better believe no one would have been beheaded when he was president.

What a nitwit. Didn't Al-Qaeda in Iraq begin their beheading spree under Bush? I seem to recall a guy named Abu Musab Zarqawi who was infamous for beheading Nick Berg. Then they beheaded loads of other people in Iraq, all under Bush.

I wondered at the time if the number of beheadings during the summer of 2004 was intended to get Bush re-elected.

(100,080 posts)Do they not remember the torture, maiming and killing that happened under Bush? And not to mention the horrific crimes that the administration not only themselves committed, but got away with, and to this very day has not been punished, but actually rewarded?
And that's today's edition of "Fox News Broadbrushes History!". Tune in tomorrow for more!

(46,736 posts)escalation of horrors. Every side feels like it has to raise the amp in order to achieve the effect it desires. It may have started with planes crashing into the Twin Towers, which led to water boarding, but it won't end with beheadings.
No one respects George Bush II, so the strategy of being steadfast but wrong doesn't seem to have paid off for him, if presidential legacies mattered to him at all.
