Outnumbered guest host Stacey Dash said Monday afternoon that no one would have been beheaded under a George W. Bush presidency.
Dashs comments were in reference to a report Monday that Bush criticized Obamas foreign policy, the first time he has been known to done so. In his remarks to the Republican Jewish Coalitions annual meeting in Las Vegas, Bush reportedly said, Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearls throat is in Gitmo, and now theyre doing it on TV. Pearl was a Wall Street Journal reporter who was captured and murdered in 2002 by Pakistani militants.
Moments after cohost Andrea Tantaros invoked Pearl, Dash made her comment about nobody being beheaded under Bush.
When George W. Bush was president, the most important thing to him was not to be liked, but to be respected, she said. And you better believe no one would have been beheaded when he was president.
Pearl was in fact beheaded, and an execution video was released. His death has even been cited as having catalyzed the practice, leading to its use by ISIS today. Via the Washington Post:
After [Pearl's] death, the use of this tactic seemed to spread, most notably into Iraq, where a large number of foreign citizens were captured and later beheaded in the immediate years after the U.S.-led invasion.

A HERETIC I AM
(24,370 posts)are because she is attractive, African American and says what they want her to say. It isn't because she has great insight or education to match her opinions.
Fox seems to love the Black commentator who will help further their agenda of scaring the old white people. Having a black peson on that sounds like/says things like the white people is especially effective, because it makes the scared old white dude demographic think "they aren't ALL that bad, look Margaret, Stacey Dash has the same opinion as I do!"
She reminds me of the renowned nitwit Victoria Jackson, except not as shrill and annoying.
