Texas Governor Deploys State Guard To Stave Off Obama Takeover

Since General Sam Houston executed his famous retreat to glory to defeat the superior forces of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, Texas has been ground zero for military training. We have so many military bases in the Lone Star State we could practically attack Russia.

So when rookie Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced he was ordering the Texas National Guard to monitor a Navy SEAL/Green Beret joint training exercise, which was taking place in Texas and several other states, everybody here looked up from their iPhones. What?

It seems there is concern among some folks that this so-called training maneuver is just a cover story. What's really going on? President Obama is about to use Special Forces to put Texas under martial law.

Let's walk over by the fence where nobody can hear us, and I'll tell you the story.

You see, there are these Wal-Marts in West Texas that supposedly closed for six months for "renovation." That's what they want you to believe. The truth is these Wal-Marts are going to be military guerrilla-warfare staging areas and FEMA processing camps for political prisoners. The prisoners are going to be transported by train cars that have already been equipped with shackles.

As I said last night when this as posted, pull the military out of Texas and close the bases.

Then we can ask Texans how they feel about the loss of the revenue those bases generate.

The Texas State Guard is a group that no one takes seriously. You pay to join and get free Texas fishing license and I bet you will probably get to drink lots of beer with your state guard buddies.

If the USSC votes in favor, some of the crazier "so called Christian" groups will try and start a revolution in the name of their GAWD. The prediction that Pres O may have to insert "Martial Law" might come true and its not because of him trying to take over the world or country, it will be because of the nut cases calling themselves "Gawd's chosen few".

My first reaction was to laugh but that didn't last long. The way Lt. Col. Listoria was treated, he probably was lucky not to have been placed under citizen arrest. These guys are scary for the way they react. If this was 2002 they would be waving flags as the military trucks rolled down the road. But, there is a black President in office and the military is now Yankee.

Our boy? You think Abbott is "Tejas DUers" boy? Sorry, but you aren't going to associate me with this idiot. He belongs to the Teahadists.

Jade Helm 15. Don't know how I missed that one. Apparently Ted Cruz was so worried about it that he actually questioned the Pentagon about it. People are apparently really freaking out.

Is that Texas has something called the Texas state guard in addition to the army and air national guard. Does any othe state have it's own military militia separate from the national guard?

Juanita Jean had some fun with this story http://juanitajean.com/ding-ding-ding-we-have-a-winner/

Several of you in the comments section posted Governor Greg Abbott’s letter assuring Texans that he had everything under control.

“It is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed,” Abbott wrote. “By monitoring the Operation on a continual basis, the State Guard will facilitate communications between my office and the commanders of the Operation to ensure that adequate measures are in place to protect Texans.”

Do you know what the Texas Guard is? It’s not the Texas National Guard. It’s just the Texas Guard. It’s like the Boy Scouts except with no adult supervision.

Remember the old sheriff we had here who often tied his shoelaces together? He was the head of the Texas Guard here and his mistress was the Lt. Col. I am not making that up. Just ask anybody.

The Texas Guard is for people too old or too chicken to join the real military. They are for civil help only, like cleaning up after a hurricane. Here’s what they get paid. They do not get to carry guns, even if they have one.
