(14,449 posts)Only Presidents should be on currency. The first female President is only in 20 months anyway so by the time the process of changing the 20 would happen, our female president will be in place. We could not have had better timing for this.

(45,319 posts)in my particular view of how that should go. My grandfather made a big deal about the Queen being on money 'back home' and how much better it was that in the US only long dead historic people were on the money, not some living person being glorified and taking power from the note itself and the labor described by that note in your pocket. So for Pa, I like my currency candidates fully decomposed and mythologized.
So I voted for Eleanor, because my father loved her. Also, keeps it Presidential in a way. My father sort of thought Eleanor was as much President as Franklin, which is why he did not mind the four terms 'two for him and then the two they wouldn't let her have'.
