I lived near Rapid City when it snowed the first week of JUNE (thankfully didn't accumulate). I love the plains/Black Hills, and love the Rockies as well, but especially as a gardener this never-ending blast of winter bullshit gets old.

Can hardly wait for daylight to see how much snow is out there.
As of dark last night we had over 10 inches and I'm in the "warm area" near Hot Springs.
