(46,416 posts)I lived near Rapid City when it snowed the first week of JUNE (thankfully didn't accumulate). I love the plains/Black Hills, and love the Rockies as well, but especially as a gardener this never-ending blast of winter bullshit gets old.

As of dark last night we had over 10 inches and I'm in the "warm area" near Hot Springs.
