I've no idea how successful his medical career was, but Carson's made me think I need to query my doctors on social issues so I can get an idea on his level of sanity and reason

(25,941 posts)but I have been assured that he was a brilliant pediatric neurosurgeon. He could have rested on those laurels, but instead he sacrificed his legacy on the altar of conservative politics, and that misanthropic streak detracts from his professional accomplishments.

(70,708 posts)another one who is the head of a doctors' owned hospital conglomerate, raking in Medicare/-caid funds, while buying unlimited infomercial wingnut time. Another one who refuses to update his medical records into computerization/internet because he hates OBAMAcare and is "making a statement" and deliberately impeding services from a specialist 300 miles away who insists on sending him findings electronically.
Not to mention all the doctor-nutcases in the Congress.
