I love Bernie. I love Elizabeth. And I'll vote for Hillary if she's nominated.
Being a devout agnostic, I have no idea where this "revelation," "spaketh," "message from the universe," or whatever else you want to label it, came from. But I am certain that Sherrod Brown will be our next president.
Please save your "sober up," of "what are you smoking?" or, "snap out of it" comments. I'm going to put this post in my journal and you can check it in November of 2016.
All I ask is that when this comes about, please don't send me messages asking for a winning lottery number.

(15,063 posts)Chris Hayes? He wasn't his usual, rumpled self. He was well groomed, well dressed and totally focused.
One of his aides must also have had the same "spaketh," and he/she knows that Sherrod is our next president.

(15,063 posts)I'm stating a fact. As I said in the OP, I've had a "spaketh" (as in Old Testament "spakeths" even though I don't believe in any religious voodoo.
I could probably come up with a hundred good reasons why Sherrod Brown is electable and could/would win.
But what I've posted here is some kind of ... I don't know what to call it. A message from the future? Being struck by a herd of Higgs-Boson particles? A remnant of Isaac Asimov's imagination? I don't know.
But I do know that Sherrod Brown will be our next president.

(149,719 posts)I'd love to see him as our next President! I've met him and heard him talk, and I really respect the way he thinks. And what he thinks.

(154,021 posts)and some folks will make fun of it. And no, I did not watch him on Hayes, I heard him on Hayes. His speech sounded like always to me. (I was in the middle of cooking dinner, TV is on the other room)
That said, I can live with a rumpled president.

(15,063 posts)some passing "headline of the day" distract you from an election that is 18 months away.
Talking points, attacks, accusations, low blows, lies, half-truths, rumors, and everything else you can think of will be thrown back and forth at all candidates for the next year and a half.
My OP has nothing whatever to do with some "comment of the moment." Thousands more such comments/accusations will come and go.
But none will change the reality that Sherrod Brown will be the next president of the United States.

(15,063 posts)I'm just some guy here on DU. I didn't seek out, hope for, or want some "message."
Having said that, I expect that many here will think I'm deluded, stoned, drunk, a charlatan, or all of the above. And I don't have any kind of "faith" in some imagined abilities.
As I've said in previous posts here, I've put this OP in my journal. Let's discuss it again in November of 2016. If I'm a self-deluded fool, I'll be the first to admit it and stand up to everyone's ridicule.
