This was a giant step towards marriage equality.

Let's just savor the moment - history was made today.

Now is not the time to discuss this; wait until the election is over. Blah, blah, blah.

Too much time is wasted celebrating "accomplishments" (Is gay marriage legal now? Recognized in all 50 states? Do gay couples have all the rights that straight couples enjoy?) of little significance because few are aware of the structural mechanisms in society and how they are employed.

But it's a WIN, and winning feels good, and that's all that matters.

that the Obama administration has found the authority in the Constitution to assassinate a US citizen (as well as a minor) based on suspicion of terrorism and without a trial.

Do you support the administration adopting that into its guiding principles? Do you support the NDAA, too? Do you support the administration's squelching of torture investigations, both here and abroad?

Obama supports gay marriage. Great. And if he thinks either of them are terrorists, he can lock them up indefinitely or assassinate them with Predator drones. Wonderful.
