Too bad his views are so messed up because he has a great life story, He was a student at Harvard when he snapped his spinal cord in a swimming accident. He resumed his studies and became a psychiatrist.

He also wasn't always on the dark side. He was a speech writer for Walter Mondale.

They were once liberal or if not liberal , not nearly as conservative as they are now.Jeane Kirkpatrick was a Democrat and was a socialist in college. William Kristol, the grand poobah of the neocons father, Irving Kristol, was a socialist.

The studies more and more come out that FOX news and a constant appetite of propaganda do not do people any good, and they seem to have turned several Ivy League educated conservative pundits and candidates into echo chamber blatherers. You are starting to hear from a small subset of conservatives that perhaps the echo chamber isn't doing them any good, but of course, most of these people are so inside the chamber they'll never hear those cries. I agree at one time Charles was not so impossible to understand or intellectually lazy.

I really don't care if he is a paraplegic. The things that he says are poisonous, and when you say poisonous things, they aren't eradicated or given a pass because you are in a chair.

There are plenty of folks in the chair that aren't complete assholes. What makes him so special that he can be an utter assclown when there are plenty of people that are right there with him and do a far better job of reporting the news/punditry than he does?

I agree in general ridiculing appearance is shallow, but he DOES have a sour expression and for those of us that did NOT know his condition I would think some slack could be allowed.

Obama could give everyone a million dollars, and they would criticize him for it. Their writing process probably consists of throwing a dart at a board of topics to criticize Obama about, and choosing the one it hits. You can always tell that they start with the concept of criticizing Obama, and then build their stories around that.
