from his message to focus on Hillary or some shiny object.

He handles the corrupt corporate media better than anyone I've ever seen.

Penn with his friend this week, on his way he stopped to visit an historical site where he read the Gettysburg Address. He said that they continued on their journey, he thought about Lincoln's 'extraordinary' speech and he was saddened to think that the dream of a nation that is 'of the people by the people and for the people' is now 'of, by and for the Billionaires'.

He is driving to DC from VT with a friend. I wish he had some other way of getting around.

He seems to have boundless energy.

Lots of working class people attack other working class people in public service unions over pensions and benefits. Fox has conscripted them as foot soldiers for the 1% while the wealthy are laughing at them all the way to their offshore bank.

Spoken like a politician whose ancestors died in the Holocaust and gets it.

Bernie has said he is running because he fears the middle class will be entirely gone in another generation--and also because Warren did not declare.

Unions did so very much to create a healthy middle class in this country. Now that Democrats are, by design, no longer getting the bulk of their funding from unions, unions have few true champions in politics.

Go, Bernie. America needs you. Thanks for running.

It will be a big measuring stick.

Many have indicated they will wait until at least after the first couple primaries, caucuses, & debates before jumping in.

Compared to the 2008 cycle, several made their commitment BEFORE Iowa. USW went Edwards, AFSCME went Hillary, Firefighters went Dodd, then flipped in the second round to Edwards etc..

Bernie's wife...asking for a $5 contribution.

You gotta love these people, Bernie and Jane.

Jane is my favorite female name, and I would love to have a first lady named "Jane." (Jill is pretty nice, too).

On Social Security Day, I'm going to send Jane my second little contribution to her husband's campaign.

Thanks for posting, Dear Steve...

The woman has my favorite name. Had a dog by that name and loved her, and now a granddaughter.

I love it's simplicity and lack of affectation. And she has a nice smile.

It's just a teeny donation, but I would feel happy sending it to Jane.

I went to donate to Jane Sanders and was taken to the Act Blue page where I started to fill in the amount. Then I went to the link in your post, and it took me to the same place....

So, I am using your link for the teeny amount.

I'd guess most of the 100s of thousands who marched to protect unions deeply yearn for someone like Sanders, and see no reason why WI cannot go for Sanders.

one of the unions is endorsing him. I think all of them should, Trumpka eg, has stated his disappointment in how they have been treated by the Dem Party.

And most of Bernie's donors throughout the years have been Unions.

An endorsement from the Unions in a couple of months, would tip the scales completely imo.

I was just a techie chasing a salary.

But I know I didn't negotiate very well on my salary, and not at all on my vacation, work hours, health benefits, etc.

All of those benefits were pretty good, because some union guy somewhere sometime took a rifle butt to the head and kept marching. My salaried benefits were a true trickle-down.
