(27,121 posts)There is a belief amongst some Buddhists that there is a special "hell" where animal abusers go.
They get whipped by horse-headed demons until they understand the pain they themselves inflicted.
Once they repent of their ways, they do have the chance to rejoin reincarnation in a new life.
There is no "permanent" hell in Buddhism, unless the person chooses to stay...
