Why is Barack Obama drinking beer at 11am?

President Barack Obama enjoys a non-alcoholic weissbier

Angela Merkel welcomed Barack Obama to the G7 summit with a traditional Bavarian breakfast on Sunday – complete with a half-litre of beer. But before he could get down to business, Mrs Merkel treated him to a full Bavarian breakfast of white sausages, pretzels and foaming lager. Eleven in the morning might be considered a little early for a beer in some parts of the world, but in Bavaria breakfast is not complete without a weissbier, as the local wheat beer is called.

I hope in my lifetime I get to meet him one day (so I can tell him face to face how proud I was to vote for him twice and thank him for saving all our collective butts), but now what I would most like to do is meet Mr. Biden and give him a huge hug and cry some together.

I am still LIVID over what Ted Cruz said!!! I thought I would calm down by now...but not even a little bit. I can't even type in public what I would like to do to Cruz.

You knew from the get-go sheshe2! I just regret not listening to you sooner!

Incredibly cruel remarks from a man devoid of humanity. I know exactly how you feel. It doesn't stop with the GOP. Someone here left a comment on this thread in the BOG. It has finally been deleted. They made remarks about TPP and the catfood commission on a thread for the President and VP Biden at Beau's funeral.

They have so many breweries and varieties of beer, they can't even keep track of all of them. It is confusing when you have 100 or so choices. The variety is astounding, everything from very pale, delicate beers all the way to beers so heavy you can eat them with a fork.
