Victoria Siegel Dies: Daughter Of ‘Queen Of Versailles’ Stars Was 18

Victoria Siegal, who appeared in the 2012 Sundance documentary The Queen Of Versailles, which followed her family as they built a 90,000 square foot mansion modeled after the Palace of Versailles, died Saturday. She was 18.

Her mother, Jackie Siegal announced her daughter’s death in a Facebook post on Sunday.

“It is with great sadness that we ask you to respect our privacy during this tragic time and the loss of our beloved daughter, Victoria,” Jackie Siegal wrote. “Thank you all for your prayers and for your support. As more information comes out, the family will share it; until that time, there is no comment.

An Orange County, FL sheriff’s spokesman tells the Orlando Sentinel, that the teen daughter of David and Jackie Siegel was found unresponsive at the family’s mansion on Green Island Cove and was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. The spokesman said the medical examiner was still determining the cause and manner of death.

Not only are they monstrously wealthy, but their family dynamic was bizarre. You kind of wanted to rescue the kids.

Dad was a narcissist and mom a total flake. The nanny seemed to be raising those kids. It was a mess and very sad. I wasn't at all surprised to hear this news

I was hoping she might get out of there. I was trying to find some more information about her, but search just brings up the news of her death.
