I'm actually quite excited for the entertainment value of a Donald Trump run.

Both losers and fodder for many jokes. That picture is priceless.

(12,041 posts)I would not rule out his chances in the primaries either, with so many candidates in the race it will not take a huge percentage of the vote to win and he may well have the highest name recognition of anyone in the GOP field.
I think he could get the nomination but he could not beat Bernie, Hillary, O'Malley, or even Chaffee.
I think Bernie vs Trump in the general election would be the greatest matchup ever, I could only imagine those debates. Bernie would probably cause Trump to spontaneously combust.

The part has to be down at the nape of his neck by now.

(41 posts)I think it's time to focus on the more serious candidates and what they have to offer; spending time on someone like Trump is a total loss; he's not a serious candidate and I, for one, am tired of hearing or reading about him.

Since the question was about his candidacy, I gave it the seriousness it deserves.
I would heartily suggest you trash threads of which you do not approve.

Doonbeg will make him a ton. Cty Clare owes him a debt of gratitude. I love what he did to the Blue Monster. Hiring Gil Hanse was a great idea.
