Her welfare policy features buzzwords about work and childcare while working while not recognizing the vast systemic dysfunction that doesn't throw longterm unemployed people any sort of life preserver. There are many gaps in the system relating to the years it takes to process ssi paperwork, undiagnosed mental or physical illness, and just the vested self-interests of the poverty bureaucracy that mean that people who fall past a certain point need a very well-coordinated and stable place to pivot back from.
Instead, Hillary continues the welfare policies of her husband. This policy of creating instability and threats so people work or else may win votes from the bigoted segments of the middle class, but it exacerbates poverty and creates homelessness. The "issue" of homelessness essentially started under the first Clinton. Democrats have to learn that all the "fraud and waste" of these programs are occasions whipped up by the GOP to justify cuts to what - in comparison to military spending - are miniscule budgets.
Hillary throws the poorest people under the bus to Triangulate instead of defending them. That's what I dislike about her policy.
