We live in a suburban area near a school, and neighborhood kitties come to visit often. One little feral lady decided to stay, and we were in the process of "taming" her and her litter of kittens for adoption when we found one of her kittens having a hard time eating. We took him inside and tried him with canned food, which he also didn't do well on, so in concern we took him to the vet. To our surprise, he turned out to be several weeks younger than the other kittens, meaning he wasn't from the feral litter at all! He had some digestive issues due to his youth, but with the right food and lots of love he perked right up. Today he is a happy, healthy 3 year old named "Bear" (because my sister had a dream about finding a kitten that turned into a black bear!) Whereever he came from, Fate guided him to our door and into our hearts.
