over the top, I asked how will she explain the variance between what she says as opposed to how she has voted and promoted .

In no particular order:

1. It is very upsetting to come to DU and see such unrelenting criticism of the person you have sworn yourself to, someone who you have convinced yourself is worthy of love and adoration. A mother filled with strength, love and compassion --it is too painful to see her attacked.

2. It is impossible to deal with the cognitive dissonance and shame that naturally comes when you see your supposedly Progressive champion go up and give a speech to her biggest audience filled with leftover Bush/Reagan-esque Cold War rhetoric. The mind simply cannot deal with the levels of cognitive dissonance created by such a enormous gap in one's belief and the stark reality staring you in the face. This can lead to subdural bleeding of the higher-functioning thought regions of the brain and should be avoided at all cost.

I'm going to back off, I've made my point, or you've made my point better than me, Thank You .

for the last month, and today nobody is running their mouth in defense of her Ultra Republican attitude as far as her speech recently ,that is precisely, exactly what I mean .

There seem to be relatively few Greatest and GD threads that support Hillary compared to many who criticize her here. Pro-Hillary posts appear to be generally limited to the "protected" bubble of the HRC Group, and even there it appears to be same two or three dozen avid supporters talking among themselves.

Judging from today, Hillary's campaign is not really picking up steam and supporters, not at DU, anyway.

This observation is by no means scientific. Who agrees or disagrees?

spouting stats from polls, isn't explaining her pandering to Republicans and the 1% when she is supposed be a Democrat, or that she hasn't stopped with the platitudes long enough to actually describe how she means to " Because I can get things done " achieve this . And Crickets as always when she's shown her Republican face .
