Michelle Kwan

Look at all these filthy billionaires!

it requires the right ingredients, needs to be properly molded and shaped, and allowed to age and curdle until it is pungent, yet delectable.

What you've got going on here is more like kraft singles. it's a cheeselike substance to be sure, but it's no Camembert.

I guess the pouts aren't coming from the GOP, alone. But whatever--your words are yours, so go on and own 'em!!

I don't think I'm the one "ruining the nice pictures" but that's a game, if lame, attempt at deflection. Given your previous posts, which are not invisible and anyone can read, your commitment to that POV is questionable, to put it charitably.

So much for all those pledges to not shit on positive threads--this is just one of several today, but damn...bitter, bitter, bitter!!!

I really have to wonder what the deal is with some of poor Bernie's "supporters." In another thread a couple of 'em are defending that terrible essay he wrote, that he's ashamed of and distancing himself from. Hey, I'll give anyone a second chance, and believe him when he says it was "dumb" and "stupid" and doesn't reflect his views today, but his "supporters" aren't helping him when they don't go along with HIS stated comments! Instead of saying "Yes, it doesn't reflect his views" they're trying to insist that there's nothing wrong with the essay.

SMH!! I really do wonder, sometimes....

I feel sorry for the sincere people who are trying to maintain a positive attitude--they're being drowned out by some negative, not-too-bright disruptors who aren't even clever.

Today I had lettuce, tomato and avocado. They were on sale as they were past date in my local store. Several pounds for just one dollar, but they have to be used fast. What a luxury it is to have such things when one can get them.

out of sight now, though. I prefer them, but they haven't recovered from years of drought killing off orchards.

I don't go for any ot the fancy apples. If you can get fresh harvested red Delicious apples (once a year before they start to refrigerate them for months and they get mealy) you can smell the frangrance of the apple blossoms still on the counter.

It's hard doing meal planning for long time, just have to go with whatever I am given or is super cheap. Just about quit with all of it.

I'm sure the salad was great on a sunny warm day like you guys are having there. Sunny cool days here, very pretty but I'm allergic to everything now. I do count my blessings, anyway. It gives me strength to go on.

Life is good no matter how it goes. Have a real hankering to move because of the cost of housing is getting far too much for me and no end in sight. But When I look at my finances and say, 'Oh, woe is me, this isn't going to work,' I know we need a Democrat in the White House to stop the GOP's nefarious schemes for next year.

Anyone who won't vote Democrat is condemning many to lives of suffering and brutal deaths, but it's easy for them to say, theyr'e unaffected. They are not my allies.

Looks like everyone had a good time
Hope the weather wasn't too hot or windy

Though I have to ask, the pic of the girl with the dog purse, what is that odd looking line that seems to begin at her phone, circle up and pass by her ear and face (pic #3)

Only at 'Democratic' Underground would 'Democrats' claim that a Democratic candidate is more conniving than a Republican at an Actual billionaire's meeting.

They already have a seat at the table. So while everybody else was at the rally they were probably either playing golf or spending the afternoon on their yacht.

What's the point? To demonstrate that Hillary Clinton can draw non-billionaires to a campaign kickoff rally in substantial numbers? Just... kind of a weird post. I think 'pictures taken at Hillary Clinton's campaign kickoff rally' would have been a much better way of presenting them...

I think some of us Bernie supporters are acting up because it is hard for us to understand her support by Democrats, as we believe that she has been bought off and insincere on economic issues. Obviously you believe differently and I am sure have a few negative opinions of Bernie.
The sniping is childish and hurtful, but it will not stop on either side. Let's hope they get tired and slow down at least.
Best of luck and may the best candidate win!

For others, they'll continue to ignore the polls and deny her support then - when she wins - the conspiracy theories of 'buying the election' will begin.

because that's the nature of politics.

I took one of those which candidate matches your views quizes and got Bernie 85% and Hillary 75%. And then a big gap before any repubs matched. I think we are fortunate that Dems have better quality candidates than the crowded clown car on the other side.

...why not any pictures of many of the minimum wage workers there?

Nah, that would be too easy and wouldn't serve to hammer Hillary Clinton.

It was a GREAT rally with a cross-section of Americans and New Yorkers. Too bad people have to dig to find negative crap to post.

They vote against their interests.

They haven't read the Chomsky reader or Howard Zinn, so they don't know any better.

According to this standard I could take pictures of regular people from any Republican rally and say "where are the billionaires" and, by your standard, it would hold just as much weight.

Naw, this is a tryhard Op with a flawed line of reasoning. You get an F.

No doubt, both your grade and your editorial will be given all the credibility they in fact, warrant.

No doubt, you'll also rationalize that in such as way as to validate your own biases...
