At least half the jury summons I get is because someone is too easily offended by something they failed to get.

just being a snarky dick. I think that's slightly different from regular old sarcasm. I think snarkasm is more pointed and adversarial, maybe.

I got tired of my sarcasm being mistaken for my point of view, so I started to use a smiley to clarify where I'm coming from.
