Wash Times: Sanders sucking the air out of OMalleys campaign

Where on Earth did Martin O'Malley go? Sure, the former Maryland governor who last month announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination, has been overshadowed this week by newcomers to the race, Jeb Bush and Donald Trump.

But still, O'Malley has all but disappeared, garnering almost no cable news coverage (and a Google search for the last 24 hours turned up only weird — and bad — headlines: “It’s Time to Discuss Martin O’Malley’s Shirtless Campaign Body”; “Martin O'Malley Deleted Official Emails, Archived Spam”; “Sanders overwhelms O'Malley.”

That last one is a killer. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont senator who is an avowed Socialist, has vaulted up in the polls. In the most recent New Hampshire poll, Sanders got 31 percent to Hillary Clinton’s 41 percent.

There is certainly room to Hillary's left for two people to run at her from there. O'Malley could easily position himself between corporatist Hillary and socialist Benie.

This could all change of course, long ways to go. But media loves to present horse rcaes instead of serious discussion about candidates history & their positions

less from the Washington times. Trying to minimize O'Malley chances, and pushing the "socialist" theme

I like to read what is being written about our candidates in mainstream media. If you don't, fine. Don't read it. But get off your high horse giving me crap for posting an article from Wash Times.

I think reading all points of view is important, sometimes if only to see how M$M is slanting things.

It is not news, it is nothing, but RW talking points. From wiki:

The Washington Times is a daily broadsheet published at 3600 New York Avenue NE, Washington, D.C., United States. It was founded in 1982 by the founder of the Unification Church, Sun Myung Moon and was owned by News World Communications, an international media conglomerate associated with the church, until 2010 when it was purchased directly by a group led by Moon.

and

The Washington Times has lost money every year that it has been in business. By 2002, the Unification Church had spent about $1.7 billion subsidizing the Times.[45] In 2003, The New Yorker reported that a billion dollars had been spent since the paper's inception, as Moon himself had noted in a 1991 speech, "Literally nine hundred million to one billion dollars has been spent to activate and run the Washington Times".[46] In 2002, Columbia Journalism Review suggested Moon had spent nearly $2 billion on the Times.[21] In 2008, Thomas F. Roeser of the Chicago Daily Observer mentioned competition from the Times as a factor moving the Washington Post to the right, and said that Moon had "announced he will spend as many future billions as is needed to keep the paper competitive."[47]

So don't pretend it is anything more than RW propaganda. There is nothing noble about posting in on a Democratic website. What's next info wars or Drudge?

I suggest you self-delete. Aside from the real concern about using right wing sources, it just legitimizes the complaints of HRC supporters that she's being attacked from the right by Sanders supporters and that we're being manipulated into doing so by the right wing.

I've been repeatedly attacked by HRC supporters who accuse me of attacking from the right when I use sources like Salon, Slate, Vox, The New Yorker and VF. You're making things worse.

I did not offer an opinion, merely posted what the Wash Times wrote. I am NOT attacking anyone.

What has happened to reading all points of view, if only to help us come up with rebuttals?
