It's still bullshit. His administration has failed at enforcing labor and environmentsl standards in existing trade agreements. And when you think about it, holding countries to those standards is nearly impossible. The profit principle wins over humanitarian and environmental principles nearly every time. And corporations hold all the cards. Tie that to corrupt governments and these promises of high standards and enforcement are a cruel joke.

No thanks, Mr. President

6. TAA is a total failure. The statistics show that definitively. It's used as CYA by Democrats

14. What's truly depressing is the number of rank-and-file Democrats who cheerfully buy this bullshit,

15. Most of those people don't think TPA and the ensuing trade agreements are a big deal

at all. They think we're being hysterical about it. What's more, they're largely ignorant and they refuse to educate themselves. They're mostly Hillary supporters and they don't think that anything but social liberalism counts.

5. Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz:

BI: What about the current president? How do you think he’s fared with the economy?

JS: I think that there have been moments when he said the right thing, like when he said he was going to devote the last three years of his terms to create a more equal society

. Unfortunately, he didn’t execute. And if I look over the eight years, he’s done one thing that was very important — that was ObamaCare extending access to healthcare. Not as much as he wanted and not as much as most progressives wanted but he did.

I think the way he structured the recovery — the bailouts, for instance — led to a recovery where 91 percent of the gains went to the top 1 percent. That’s a failure.

The trade agreement that he is pushing now will create more inequality. What worries me is that — I don’t want to say that he is the architect — he’s actively been pushing policies that I think are pro-inequality.

Dems supporting secret trade agreements really suck.

Btw, have I mentioned how hard the cons are trying trying to polish 8 and 9 year old turds.

The stench coming from the clown car is positively overwhelming and offensive.
