Especially cheese slices! The slice of choice is pepperoni.

in the beginning with all those cold, cold people, especially that last one that is cursing, but heartwarming and wet eye bring in the end. I always try to help out if I can, sometimes I can't. That could be me one day, we never really know what's around the next corner in life.

or cruel about not giving your slice of pizza to some punk kids, who are wearing 100 $ shoes and nice clothes that walk up to you while you're eating and ask for it as if they're entitled to some of your food. I've watched that "prank channel" and those guys make fake videos, exploit minorities (watch their "in the hood" videos) and are just all around garbage

but they have been caught faking vids. And they routinely go to poor and minority areas and try to provoke blacks so they can get "reactions". Browse their channel.

But look at the way they walk up to people and demand food from them. Would you give those punks your food, esp when they ask in that manner?? I wouldn't. You can hear one of the people they ask cursing them out commenting on their expensive shoes.

watching. Not my cup of tea. I do know that people can be vicious toward people who are less fortunate. As far as these guys, if they are jerking people around for some kind of 'kick' or thrill, they will probably run into the wrong person one day and they will only have themselves to blame. I still try to help when I am able. Not often, but when I can.

they are going to get f***** up. And like I said, they only have themselves to blame. Maybe they think white privilege and cameras are going to save them, always. Nope.

.. generally leave me a bit suspicious. Why would anyone have a camera on something like this? There is really no way to easily tell if this was staged or not. Or it could be the staged version of something that more-or-less actually happened. No way to tell.

I've seen a couple similar happenings more than once around poor parts of town. Sad this goes on in a country where you are always hearing the phrase, 'American Exceptionalism'. Call me a socialist but I believe there should be a national minimum income in USA.

Heart warming video! Worth the 3 minutes!

on edit:

I don't know if the vid is fake either, but I like the sentiment.

Expensive shoes.

Really?

Don't want to give them your money/food? Fine, but don't criticize them.

Maybe his mom bought the shoes for him. Maybe he bought them himself before he fell on hard times. Maybe he bought them at a second hand shop where some rich kid's parents drop off their kids consumerist rejects. Maybe he's scamming the system. Yeah, right, scamming the system by going out there on the streets & asking strangers for help. I'm not saying there aren't scammers, but begging from people you don't know can't be fun.

I'm a believer that if you provide people with opportunity, the vast majority will take it & work it!

Also, if someone told me they were hungry & I had food, I would offer it. I know I say that from a place of having enough, but that's kind of the point, isn't it? So maybe I get scammed for a slice of pizza from a kid who isn't really hungry.

Big fucking deal.

I would rather give someone food and have it be a scam than let someone that's hungry go hungry. Besides, it is a good video and it may make someone think.

A few years back, we were in Nashville at the White Castle on Thompson Ln. We always get a BIG bag of White Castles to take home cos Jesusland doesn't believe in WC. This guy came up to us as we were eating in the parking lot and asked if he could have a WC. We gave him 5 WC's, a coke and a 'thing" of fries (Someone will complain that we raised the guy's cholesterol, or something). He seemed so happy and grateful and scarfed two WC's down in one bite each. The point is that, while I have never had much money, I will FEED anyone. So what if it's a scam, it's the right thing to do.

becaise I woukd be unaware that I was part of a sociological e perimemt and was being video recorded so that I could be featured in an intetnet video. I would hope I would share the pizza with another person who politely asked if I would give them a slice of pizza.
